Thank you for visiting im-home.net, a service operated by I am Home, Inc. Your privacy is very important to us. This notice is provided to better inform and educate our customers on how we collect, use or store information.
Information Collected.
im-home.net allows you to carefully control and choose which information you wish to provide us and for how long you'd like us to store it. Once you delete information through your account, either through the Preferences section or otherwise, it is not stored with us anymore in any reasonable way, shape or form.
I am Home, Inc. collects and stores personally identifiable information to help your Aides carry out tasks for you. For example, if you inform us that you prefer to travel on a particular airline, we will store that information in your Preferences folder until you delete it. This is done in order to serve you better.
You may also input personally identifiable information about other people in order to help us contact them at your request. These people might include services or contractors you use, business contacts or family members. Once you delete a contact from your Preferences, needless to say, it is deleted from all our servers and never stored without your explicit consent.
We also may collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you visit many of our web pages such as the type of browser you are using, the type of operating system you are using, and the domain name of your Internet service provider. This is for us to serve you better. Needless to say, this information can not be used to trace our users or affect them in any way.
Privacy.
I am Home, Inc. will never spam your mailbox. If you do not wish to recieve notifications from us regarding your tasks, simply turn them off through your Preferences page. If we ever send you a regular email newsletter, we will ensure that there is a procedure to opt-out of it.
I am Home, Inc. will not use or transfer personally identifiable information provided to us in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you with an opportunity to opt out of these unrelated uses.
Commitment to Security.
We use the information you provide to better tailor our services for your requests. We also use this information to communicate with you, either at your request or to clarify or inform you of developments, just like a Personal Assistant would.
We do not sell, barter, trade or in any way expose your sensitive information to third parties willingly. Of course, we are administered under laws and regulations of countries we operate in and may have to expose your information at their request.
We have also protected our state of the art datacenter against hacker or other malicious attacks. The 24 hour facility our Aide's operate from is protected by professional security services 24 hours a day and operate under the strictest information transfer policies. What this means for you is that your information is safer with us than with your own personal assistant!
If ever information is exposed inconsistently to this policy, we will notify you at once along with the relevant authorities. (Yes, our lawyers made us add that; we simply do not see that happening though, with our rigid control.)
Changes to this Notice.
This Notice may be changed by I am Home, Inc. The revised Notice will be posted on this page so that you are aware of the information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we may disclose it.
